We own our own fleet of vehicles, which are renewed every 5 years and include all the latest technology, safety and comfort features.
We recognise and reward everyone’s hard work across our business, not least in our award-winning Transport team. Our drivers can earn an OTE of up to £46,000 depending on their depot and position which includes an hourly rate guaranteed over 48 hours per week. Our incentive scheme is paid quarterly and could see you receive an additional £750 – £1,300 as a thank you for your efforts.
To ensure we continue to deliver our award-winning service across the UK, each one of our depots has its own dedicated Driver Development team committed to developing the whole team’s skills and expertise. Their success can be seen in the ongoing success of our people – many of our Transport management team have progressed into their current roles thanks to the training and development opportunities they’ve had here at Wren.
Our apprenticeships are open to people of all ages, so whether you’re just starting out or are looking at a change of career, our Porter to Driver apprenticeship programme could be for you. We’re part of the National Apprenticeships Programme and we understand how vital it is to invest in the people who’ll continue to take our business forward. As part of the scheme we’ll fully fund your HGV driving lessons over a 12 month period to set you on the road to success.
We’ve already come a long way in our mission to be as eco-friendly as possible. Think electric vehicles. Alternate fuels. And the latest equipment that helps us map out the most efficient routes. We’re determined to be industry leaders in terms of innovation and becoming green.

Wren Kitchens opens a southeast transport depot in Rochester to cater for increased demand and to further reduce emissions.
We use cooking oil that would otherwise be thrown away by converting it into bio-diesel for the majority of our yard vehicles. This emits 75% less carbon than diesel and petrol.

I joined Wren Kitchens in 2018 as a port of the Stansted site and throughout my career I have gained several qualifications including my Level 3 CAVA, Level 4 IQA and Level 5 Diploma in Education and training. Wren always support personal development and are a great team to be a part of.
Wren really are invested in growing and developing its team members. With the encouragement from the team around me, I recently undertook a Transport Manager CPC Qualification to expand my knowledge and further my career at Wren. The great thing about Wren is their desire to help you succeed, however young and inexperienced you are, you never feel alone, there is always someone on hand to help.
In 2021 we were fortunate enough to win 5 awards at the MotorTransport awards.
This includes being two-time consecutive winners of the Business Excellence Award and two-time winners of the Operational Excellence Award
