Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Main responsibilities:

Working with site engineering manager to effectively plan workload and job allocation, ensuring tasks are completed in order of priority.
Acting as a point of call in regards to facilities and maintenance subjects.
Working with departmental managers to ensure repairs or planned work to machinery is carried out with minimal disruption to operations.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure that the sufficient and relevant materials required for repairs and regeneration projects are purchased.
Ensuring repairs and building projects are completed to a high standard, in line with all relevant regulations.
Supporting engineering manager with any recruitment needs and provide on the job training and guidance to team members.
Acting as a key liaison between engineering manager and maintenance team, ensuring any information and business changes are shared throughout the team.
Supporting with the management of the departmental budget, monitoring weekly and periodical costs to ensure work remains compliant with budgets set.
Communicating effectively and with confidence to highlight achievements and any improvements required by implementing changes in working practice.
