Scunthorpe South

This is one of the first Scunthorpe sites we’ve launched. At a remarkable 500,000 sq. ft., it specialises in the production of our frontals and worktops.

Craftsmanship & precision

We've worked to develop unique manufacturing techniques, including specialist paint finishes, adhesive treatments, and assembly processes. For example, our doors are manufactured using Wren's specially engineered 230-meter long production line for a flawless finish. This gives us the confidence to guarantee our kitchens for up to 25 years.

“Every step of our manufacturing process happens in the UK. This means we can keep a careful eye on everything we do.

“As the UK’s number one kitchen retail specialist, Wren Kitchens is a truly passionate, family-run business dedicated to delivering success across all areas.

“It truly is a great place to work, and I’m excited to see what the future holds!”

- Kes Serelis, UK Manufacturing Operations Director

Internationally Commended

Our Scunthorpe South factory has achieved the official stamp of approval by the worldwide standard-setting agency - International Standards Organisation (ISO).

We’ve been awarded the following:

• ISO 9001 - Recognising our efforts to continually improve and streamline the performance of the business.

Environmental & Social Responsibility

We’re definitely devoted to our kitchens – but that’s not all. We do our best to look after our 8,500+ employees and the environment too.

In our Scunthorpe South factory, our specialist machinery shapes and cuts the worktops, producing a lot of surplus sawdust. However, this does not go to waste as we have giant suction pipes collecting all the spare cuttings and filing 1-2 trailers weekly. Local farmers and landscapers then take advantage of this and reuse it on their nearby rural projects.

Excellence and Growth

The safety of our team members is paramount.

We’ve been accredited by the leading standards setting body for workplace transport training (RTITB) after they reviewed and approved our first-class training for forklift truck drivers in our manufacturing facilities.

With a fleet of more than 540 forklifts in total, it’s important to maintain our high driving standards and continually reduce incidents. This highly regarded accreditation drives consistency with our robust training programme, as well as legal compliance.

At Wren, we invest in our training so you can push the boundaries and have a flying career!

We’ve received the seal of approval for our first-class manufacturing training facilities.

After a rigorous three-day assessment, the British Accreditation Council (BAC) recommended the standards and quality of our bespoke health and safety training. This top accolade means we train to the same high standards as colleges and further education courses.

In addition to this welcome news, works have progressed rapidly over the past couple of years on our new £120 million kitchen manufacturing and assembly facility – creating a further 900 new jobs for the region, such as machine operators, team leaders, compliance officers and managers.

At Wren, we care about our customers, colleagues, products and service – relentlessly pursuing excellence and growth.
